Jukka Geisler, born in Munich in 2005, is one of the most versatile artists of his generation. The young pianist and organist has already received several awards for his playing, most recently at the international organ competition "Kontrapunkte" hosted by the Ernst Pepping Gesellschaft in Heidelberg (1st prize), at the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition 2025 (2nd prize and special prize for the best interpretation of a work by JS Bach), and at the London Organ Competition 2024 (2nd prize).

 

His competition and concert activities have taken him to important churches in Germany and the United Kingdom, such as St. Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh, St. Michael's in London, Salzburg Cathedral, and the Stiftskirche in Stuttgart.

 

His 2026/27 schedule includes, among others, St. Paul´s Cathedral in London, Trinity College, Cambridge, recitals in Newcastle, York, and Edinburgh, as well as his USA debut in Sarasota, Florida.

He is currently studying organ with Prof. Dr. Martin Sander at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts (HMTM). Artistic guidance from internationally renowned instructors such as Prof. Christophe Mantoux (Paris), Maurizio Croci (Freiburg), and Prof. Markus Bellheim (Munich) complements his training. In addition, he also works as a harpsichordist and continuo player, as well as a choir director.

In the interest of a well-rounded education, Jukka Geisler complements his musical education with studies of Art History at the LMU Munich.
